Rhetorical Analysis Self Assessment

During my rhetorical analysis essay, while I was writing it, I really reflected on the audience that I was trying to capture and the message I wanted to convey, since I was speaking about Israel and Palestine, as well as the Holocaust. During my reflection on the impact that all these events have had on society, I had to try to capture that audience in the foundation of what I was trying to convey. Furthermore, I wanted to be careful with the specific language I used to refer to some things. For example, when I spoke about the controversy of the topic or why certain things had happened in the war, I wanted to be as sensitive as possible and remain unbiased in my writing. This was so it wouldn’t seem like I was specifically targeting anyone, but the reader could still understand what I was trying to say about each side and the connection between the Holocaust and the current war happening in Israel and Palestine.
